AFSHEEN NUMAIR
After graduating from the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, Afsheen joined its faculty, teaching print design. In 2002, she launched BLOCKED TEXTILES with the aims of sustaining age-old textile crafts and techniques, providing steady employment to craftspersons, and appealing to the modern youth. Her focus is on small-batch productions, hand-block printing using modern sensibilities, and no waste.

DR. M. PATRICE KHAN
A Psychologist from the USA, Dr Khan has been teaching and practising in Karachi since 2018. She specializes in facilitating scientifically validated Meditation classes for stress-reduction and has been an inspiration for hundreds of women and men. Dr. Khan’s mantra is, “Meditation Manifests Miracles”.

MYRA QURESHI
The CEO and co-founder of Conatural, a pioneer in manufacturing organic and natural skin and hair care products in Pakistan which also exports its own and other labels’ cosmetics. Conatural is sold in Pakistan, the UAE and UK and has.co-branded with Khaadi for Pakistan. Myra is a graduate of the School of Economics (LSE), and an Exec-MBA from Georgetown and ESADE. Earlier she worked in the Financial Services Sector.

NUSRAT HIDAYATULLAH
Nusrat is a health and fitness coach as well as the executive director of the 42 Day Challenge. A lawyer by profession, Nusrat co-founded her company a few years ago in Karachi. Today, the 42 Day Challenge hosts multiple workouts across three of the country’s major cities.
ZAR ASLAM
A Pakistani environmentalist, Zar Aslam, President of Pakistan's non-profit Environment Protection Fund, began the Pink Rickshaws to empower the women of Pakistan. This project enables women to travel in comfort and become financially independent. Her aim is to change the role and visibility of women and remove the social obstacles that prevents them from entering male dominated professions to earn a living.

ANISA RASHID KHAN
Famous for her elegant styling and finesse, Anisa Rashid Khan is a Pioneer in event management and has been in this profession for over 30 years. She beganher career in sports management, transitioned to volunteering for fundraisers, and today is the creative mastermind behind many world class events in Pakistan

AMAR SINDHU
Amar Sindhu is Assistant Professor, Sindh University, Jamshoro. A poet with origins in Sindhi Literature, she is also a columnist and political analyst. Her poetry has been translated into the German language. She has contributed many articles in Urdu and English. Amar Sindhu is known for her unflinching human rights activism, her unequivocal support for the underprivileged sections of society, and her ability to speak her mind. She also published a magazine named Adrish on political, social, cultural and theoretical issues. One can find love, rebellion and passion altogether in her strong poetic expression. She is also an author of a bilingual book of poetry.

JEANNETTE FARUQUE
Jeannette is both owner and head trainer at Studio X (One of the most well-known health centres in Karachi) and has over 20 years of experience in fitness training. She has invested in re-educating herself and is an internationally certified instructor who continues to train, and retrain, in world-class fitness techniques.

HINA USMANI
Hina Usmani is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and the Founder and Managing Partner of Usman & Co. (UCO). the first women led accounting practice in Pakistan.UCO has pioneered the provision of work-from-home opportunities for women accountants globally and connected them digitally with women entrepreneurs. Hina is the first elected woman Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

NASREEN IQBAL
Nasreen Iqbal has been an educator for the last 33 years and is the senior-most member of the Board of Trustees of Literacy Development in Pakistan. She has worked as a resource person for UNESCO, Oxford University Press, Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aghai and the Federal Ministry of Education for the Government of Pakistan. She has developed a Teachers Resource Kit entitled ‘Heritage in Young Hands for UNESCO’.
WOMAN OF THE YEAR

AYESHA AYAZ
Ayesha has been invited by Prime Minister Imran Khan to meet him She is Pakistan’s youngest taekwondo athlete to bag accolades in the 27kg category during the 7th Fujairah Open International Taekwondo Championship in the UAE. Ayesha won the bronze medal in the 27kg category and is also Pakistan’s youngest athlete to have competed at the G-1 event.

FRIEHA ALTAF
Frieha Altaf is an institution. Her love for fashion is legendary and has paved the way for her into the media industry. As CEO and Creative Head of her company Catwalk Events and Production, she is synonymous with ‘Celebration’ and has executed over 3000 events, ranging from intimate to enormous, over 30 years. Her forte is directing, producing shows, celebrity and model management. She has also ventured into acting.

NAUREEN HYAT
Having created the fastest- growing fintech company in Pakistan by on-boarding more than 70,000 people, Naureen Hyat, 33, co-founder and head of Tez Financial Services, has a long way to go to reach her goal of financially empowering the 100 million people in Pakistan who are unbanked or under-banked. She was recently spotlighted by Forbes.
NILOFER FARRUKH
Niilofer is the CEO of Karachi Biennale and one of its founders. As Pakistan’s largest international art event, the Karachi Biennale has put the city on the art map of the world. Niilofar is also the co-Founder of Asna Clay Triennial and the Founder-Editor of NuktaArt. She is a published author with three books on art to her credit.
VALERIE KHAN
Valerie is a Franco-Pakistani development professional and human rights activist She is Conseiller Consulaire Asie Centrale FDM-ADFE and Presidente Alliance Francaise Islamabad. She has worked for 22 years in SAARC (especially Pakistan) in capacity-building engineering, child protection/trafficking/marriage/labour, women’s rights and gender issues such as violence and honour crimes as well as legal and policy reform.
